Supporting Independence, Wellbeing, and Everyday Life

Specialist Adult Disability & Mental Health Support Group

ADAMHS Ltd is a specialist support provider based in Middlesbrough, delivering community-based support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD and mental health needs.

We support people who want more from life than being “looked after”. Our focus is on independence, confidence, skills, relationships and real-world participation, not just filling time.

We work with individuals funded through personal budgets, direct payments and commissioned packages, as well as self-funders.

What makes ADAMHS different?

Most services offer activities.

We build lives.

At ADAMHS, every person we support has:

• Personal goals

• A clear support plan

• Staff who know them properly

• Opportunities that actually lead somewhere

We do not run “one size fits all” groups. Everything is adapted to the person, their needs, their pace, their ambitions.

Social & Emotional Wellbeing

We support people to:

• Make and maintain friendships

• Build confidence

• Manage anxiety and emotions

• Develop healthy relationships

• Feel part of their community

No one thrives in isolation — we actively prevent it.

Health, Activity and Creativity

We use physical activity and creativity to support wellbeing:

• Walking groups

• Sports & games

• Dance and movement

• Music

• Art and creative projects

• Trips, days out and cultural visits

This improves confidence, physical health and emotional resilience.
